Ellana Minerals (and Xend Shipping)

I've already received my free samples from Ellana Minerals just a while ago! Yey! But I've to try them yet.

Ellana Mineral Free Samples with Summer 2011 Catalog
The free samples include 1/4 tsp. of 2-perfect blend foundation, 1-concealer, 1-finishing powder and 1-blush in ziplock bags. I've also received their Summer 2011 Catalog.

Large Ziplock bags: Finishing Powder in Espresso Con Panna and Concealer in Radiant
Small Ziplock bags: Foundation in Cafe Mocha and Toffee Mocha and Blush in Patience

I always see their stall in front of the grocery at SM Megamall during weekends. At first, I didn't know that it was Ellana until I got curious and checked their stuffs.

I also didn't know what's the difference between these mineral makeup and the regular makeup I was used to, so I braced myself from buying. I searched the Internet first about Ellana Minerals and found out  from their website that they were giving free samples.

All you have to do is supply the needed information along with your skintone and undertone (so they can recommend the right makeup color for you) and pay for shipping fees. I actually didn't know about these tones and kind of guessed wildly. LOL.

I only paid Php50 for shipping via Xend. And no, don't start asking about this courier because I am really disappointed. As far as I'm concerned, the free samples were picked up last July 7 and was supposed to be delivered to me by July 8. I didn't know this until I messaged Miss Coney again regarding the matter.

I called Xend and told me they were going to ship it yesterday, July 14. But that didn't happen. It seemed that they forgot to invoice it or whatever. It was only delivered today July 15. That's exactly one week. Tsk.

But anyway, I'm happy to get the freebies. I'll be trying them out now. And probably buy some stuffs tomorrow. LOL. :)

  1. Cool, they give out freebies before you decide to buy or not. :D Sad they don't allow pick-up for the samples, I live so near their office so I did not want to pay P50 for it. Haha

  2. That's sad nga. Hehe. Sayang. I won't want to pay P50 for Xend shipping service, too. :P I've tried buying from eBay and didn't have problems with shipping using Metrowide Courier and Jam Global. :D

  11. Oh? Matagal ba bago mawala? Mas gusto ko na yung cheek tint. Mas matagal. Once lang ako nag-apply, magdamag pa ring maula pisngi ko. Haha!

  12. Hmmm...matagal naman siguro. Hindi ako mahilig magretouch eh. LOL. Anyway, very pigmented siya eh. Maggagawa ako ng review about dun. Wait ka lang. Nyehehe. :D

Okay nga 'yung mag lip/cheek tint, kaso nageenjoy pa ko sa brush eh. LOL.
